Långasjönäs Camping & Stugby AB is looking for someone interested in a position as a caretaker / property worker. Employment is from May 1st to August 31st, 2026. The last application date is January 12, 2026. Interviews will be held in weeks 2 and 3.

We are looking for

We are seeking an engaged and service-oriented caretaker/property worker for our camping site. The position may also include other tasks depending on the needs of the operation, which means we value flexibility. You enjoy working in a team but are also self-driven and take your own initiatives. You see what needs to be done without being told and take responsibility for completing tasks.

You will be part of a smaller team with both permanent and seasonal employees, in one of Blekinge's most beautiful locations.

Job Responsibilities

• General maintenance of the camping area, cabins, and common areas
• Supervision and minor repairs of buildings, furnishings, and equipment
• Lawn mowing and gardening
• Monitoring and maintenance of sewage systems, waste management, and recycling stations
• Changing light bulbs, filters, etc., as well as preventive maintenance
• Assist the cleaning team and guests with practical help when needed
• Work according to the camping's routines. You will work alongside a permanent caretaker.

Requirements for the position

• Experience in practical maintenance work or similar position
• Good technical understanding and ability to solve problems independently
• Driver's license B (manual).
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or gardening is an advantage.
• Good teamwork skills and service mindset
• At least 18 years old
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and good communication skills in English.
• An important detail is that you need to be prepared to work some Saturdays and Sundays.
